The mission of the Houston Metro Area Police Foundation is to: offer support of "severely injured" officer families, to raise awareness about the Foundation through education and advocacy and to provide financial assistance to the families of officers critically injured in the line of duty. The Houston Metro Area Police Foundation also holds community-engagement as a core component to achieving its mission and goals.
